Case study : Rise Well
Rise Well, a start-up wellbeing and happiness consultancy, came to the Heybridge Creative Team with the vision of a clean and modern online presence. Jen Christie, founder of Rise Well, arranged a meeting with our team of online specialists to discuss her visions and ideas. Our team understood that because Rise Well is a new business, we had to create an online presence that creates trust and excitement amongst the public.
On our first meeting, Jen was unsure of the best name to showcase her business and asked for some suggestions of business names. Our team got together to mind-map a variety of names that we believed would showcase the important views behind the business. We came up with many names relating to the word ‘Happiness” and connotations surround it, alongside this we looked into Glyphs in order to create a name and design with meaning that fitted the business’ views. Creative Artworker, Harriet, then created graphics for each name to show Jen how these names would fit into a logo. Jen took some time to look at each individual design before deciding on the name “Rise Well”.
After a good discussion with Rise Well, we came to the agreement that in order to create a good start-up launch campaign, they would need:
- Modern Logo
- Responsive Website
- Memorable Business Cards
A website, logo and business cards was what Rise Well needed to create interest and become memorable with the public!
Heybridge’s Creative Artworker, Harriet, create a large variety of graphic visuals, each individual design used different fonts, colouring, styling and versions of wording. Creating a variety of designs gave our clients the chance to see their logo in a range of formats in order to understand how they want their brand identity to be viewed. Harriet looked into Glyphs that could be incorporated into the logo to establish the Rise Well message. Each design matched Rise Well’s original vision of a clean, minimalist design with warming, welcoming colours incorporated.

Once the final logo had been decided, our team set to work on creating business cards to match the brand’s identity. Rise Well represents happiness and wellbeing so we wanted to ensure that their business cards match the warm and welcoming message from the business. Once the logo and business cards were designed, the next important step was to build Rise Well the perfect website! Jen’s vision was to create a site that is responsive, user-friendly and minimalist, as well as this Jen was interested in learning how to maintain her site regularly herself, so it was important that we ensured the backend of her site is simple and clean! One of the important elements of Rise Well’s website is a blog that users can access to find out more information about happiness and wellbeing in the workplace. During the initial design stages, our team took into consideration that a blog was important to them and therefore, incorporated the blog into our initial designs!
Rise Well’s website is now finished and live and founder, Jen, is very pleased with the final outcome!
