Google’s 20th anniversary
Twenty years ago today the infamous search engine, Google, was launched. Created by two Stanford students, Google’s mission was to create a platform for users to receive data and information in a much quicker and easier format. Google is the top ranking search engine with over 3.5 billion searches per day and 1.2 trillion searches per year, worldwide.
Throughout 20 years, we have seen Google change, adapt and grow to become the best worldwide search engine. With the company marking 20 years, they are continuing to devote their time to the future of online search, as well as promising some surprise announcements.
With the 20th birthday, Google have released new Easter Eggs for the public to have some fun with. Here is a list of our favourite Easter Eggs over the years:
